Bzgl. Siedler 4 und aLobby allgemein: die Implementierung hat Beta-Status - und ist in Wirklichkeit (noch) extrem buggy. Bei 2 Spielern dürfte es meistens funktionieren. Bei mehr als 2 kannst es fürs erste leider vergessen.
Also im Prinzip trifft das, was da für die aLobby geschrieben steht, unabhängig davon ob S3 oder S4 über die aLobby gespielt wird, zu. Was man aber beachten muss: S4 verwendet andere Ports für Multiplayer als S3 (3000, 3105 TCP&UDP). Die taskset (core affinity) Geschichte ist wiederum für S4 nicht relevant, da S4 nicht das "stottern" Problem unter Wine aufweist wie S3 es tut.
